How billing works
TrueStake bills per validator-year — never on how much ETH you've staked or what it's worth. A validator-year is one validator, reconciled for one calendar year. Your validator count is the work we do: ingesting, reconciling, and reporting on each one.
The rate is $25 per validator-year, the same for a past year as for the current one. A validator that was only active for part of a year is charged only for the days it was active.
It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription
You pay once for each year you want a Tax Report for. There are no plans, no tiers, no monthly billing and no renewals, so there is nothing to cancel. A year you've bought stays on your account.
You buy years from Billing in your dashboard and pay by card through Stripe. If we've given you a promotion code, enter it on the Stripe checkout page.
What a validator-year gets you
Buying a validator-year for a calendar year adds that whole year to your dashboard and unlocks that year's Tax Report (XLSX and CSV).
The free preview
Before you buy anything, your dashboard shows the last 30 days of your staking data, reconciled to the wei. No card is needed. The Tax Report is what you pay for.
Refunds
Validator-year purchases are non-refundable, with one narrow exception: if no report was generated for the validator-year you bought and a technical fault is shown, you can ask support for a refund. We decide each request. To ask, email support@truestake.io with the validator-year and what went wrong.
Your data is yours
Exporting your data is free, and the export covers everything you can see in your dashboard. Your records stay downloadable if you stop using TrueStake, and you can delete your account at any time from your account settings.
Receipts and invoices
Each purchase is a single card payment, so there is no saved payment method to update and no billing portal. If you need a receipt or invoice for a purchase, email us at support@truestake.io.

Email support, with a first-response target of 1 US business day. This is a response-time target, not a contractual SLA.
