Billing and renewal

How billing works

TrueStake bills per validator-year — never on how much ETH you've staked or what it's worth. Your validator count is the work we do: ingesting, reconciling, and reporting on each one. Add a validator mid-year and your bill reflects that; your ETH balance never enters the calculation.

Plans

  • Free — 1 validator, $0 forever. Live dashboard and reconciliation; no Tax Reports.
  • Solo — 1–10 validators, $99/yr.
  • Operator — 11–50 validators, $299/yr.
  • Fleet — 51–200 validators, $999/yr.
  • Institutional — 201+ validators, contact us for terms.

Every paid plan gets the same core product — the dashboard, reconciliation, and Tax Reports are identical across Solo, Operator, and Fleet. Only the validator ceiling and support tier change as you move up. Monthly billing runs 33% more than paying annual (spread across 12 months) — if you'll be on TrueStake more than a few months, annual is cheaper.

Coverage years

Each paid subscription covers the current calendar year of your staking data with a bundled Tax Report. Need a report for a year before you subscribed? Buy that year separately as a one-time Coverage year add-on — $40 per validator-year, prorated by however many days that validator was actually active during the year. Keep an active paid subscription for 12 consecutive months and that calendar year's Coverage is granted automatically, no separate purchase needed. (See the glossary for the formal definition.)

Support

  • Solo — email support, 2 US business days.
  • Operator — priority support, 1 US business day.
  • Fleet — named contact, same business day.
  • Institutional — dedicated onboarding, same business day plus kickoff.

These are response-time targets, not contractual SLAs.

Cancelling

There's no lock-in. Cancel any time and export everything first — your Tax Reports for every Coverage year you've paid for, plus a full data-portability export as CSV — then walk away with your records intact.

What's still being finalized

TrueStake is in private beta. Self-serve plan changes, payment methods on file, and the renewal experience itself are still being built out — email us if you need something adjusted in the meantime.
